DBT My Last Hope

Dialectical behavioural therapy is an evidence-based psychotherapy that began with efforts to treat personality disorders and interpersonal conflicts. Evidence suggests that DBT can be useful in treating mood disorders and suicidal ideation, as well as for changing behavioral patterns such as self-harm and substance use. (Wikipedia)

This is about my frustrating journey so far having tried multiple therapies yet I am still unstable. Erratic. Impulsive. A problem to myself and a concern for others. So I think anyway. No-one is actually telling me these things except psychological services after I drag them down into the murky depths upon being questioned. And then I feel negatively reinforced.

Haphazard
Overwhelmed
Music matters
Fashion doesn’t
Who am I?
Let’s go

ABC as child

Talking talking talking
Walk, do more walking
Inhale trees
Exhale rivers
Still a problem
Still a disorder

CBT as a trial

Analyse this
Dissect that
Wannabe emotions
Feeling extreme
Still a disorder
Still a concern

CAT as a problem

Aggressive fight
Childlike flight
Sinking fast
My Titanic soul
Still a red flag
Still a no hope

DBT my last chance
