Trees whisper encouragement
Where I’m from
Leaves rustle with happiness
Where I’m from
Fields calming green
Rivers pure and clean
The animals aren’t mean
Where I’m from
The city is pretty
Where I’m from
Each street is history
Where I’m from
Monuments stand proud
Guarding castle ground
Stood majestic up in cloud
Where I’m from
I often wonder
Why I’ve moved
Left behind my calm
Abandoned sanctuary
No tree climbing here
No icy cold fun rivers
Yet where I’m from
Can be anywhere!
Now wherever I am is
Where I’m from

That’s a very good question. Why care where I’m from if I try to live carefree 🤔
